Tradeteam Crowned European Champions

Tradeteam was awarded the title of European Transport Company of the Year 2010 in Brussels . It follows Dutch company Van Maanen, who won the first edition of the contest in 2009.

For the second time, Truck Europe has awarded an annual trophy for the best European Transport Company of the Year. The second and third places go respectively to Van Dievel and International Lazar Company.

In several European countries, transport magazines elect each year, in different formats, a Transport Company of the Year. The experience has shown that this title no only brings real recognition and prestige, organising such competitions also leads to a unique sharing of experience, to the benefit of the entire sector. This year Truck Europe has applied the same principle on European level identifying, with the active participation of national editorial partners, candidates for the award of ‘European Transport Company of the Year’. By ‘transport company’ is meant companies whose principal activity is road transport, and for whom most business is carried out using its own fleet.

The European Transport Company of the Year Award was designed to find the best case studies throughout Europe, to highlight the work that international transporters carry out, and especially to share best practices and inspire others. The jury is made up of editors-in-chief of leading European transport magazines and experts in various fields.
