All Tradeteam operations (Primary and Secondary) are supported by a single set of integrated systems thus providing the benefits of a shared user network. Tradeteam's preference is to buy not build systems but the way in which they are all integrated together is unique. Some of the main component parts are:
OMS (Order Management System): Infor's Aurora ERP used to manage the lifecycle of a customer order, from receipt (via a variety of mechanisms) through delivery, delivery note confirmation and customer invoicing
WMS: OBS's Calidus-e, fully RF enabled and used in 15 of the larger stock holding sites.
Logility: used for demand forecasting for those customers where Tradeteam perform stock replenishment / stock ownership services.
The exception to the use of packaged systems is TMS, an application developed by Tradeteam to cater for the unique requirements of our crew de-brief process. Away from business critical applications, back-office systems such as E-mail, Finance and HR are as used as standard elsewhere within DHL
All key systems are hosted on scalable / high availability platforms based on IBM technologies.
